What is Beetleball?

Beetleball is Bugfight Studio's team-based dung beetle soccer game. The official overview describes PvP, multiple balls in play, and matches with up to 12 players at once. That player count is a maximum, not the size of every mode. [1]

This is an independent, unofficial guide. Start with the first-match walkthrough if you are learning the game; it follows the menu route, the core inputs and one checked recovery.

Beetleball released on Steam on September 3, 2026. Store data checked on November 6, 2026 still lists Windows, macOS and Linux. [5]

The confirmed platforms here are the operating systems listed on Steam. This page does not infer a console or mobile release from that PC listing.

Beetleball's September 3, 2026 launch announcement added Atlas and Bee, class unlocks and quests. Update #1, posted September 11, 2026, added charged headbutts and brought back 3v3 Blitz. It also said a later update would add balance changes, a new map and the Diabolical Ironclad Beetle. On November 6, 2026, Bugfight's Steam announcement feed still ended at Update #1, and SteamDB still showed public build 25250887 from September 11 as the only public branch. [4][26][27]
